Business Development Manager

We are currently partnering with a fast-growing marketing agency based in central Manchester who are looking to hire brilliant people to expand their sales team.
This is no ordinary bottoms-in-seat role, this is an opportunity to work for and with some of the best in the business and be part of what will be one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in MCR.
You will be based out of our vibrant Manchester city centre office but this role is hybrid
They work with some of the world's most interesting brands and have big aspirations to become a leader in their space. They have an international team of 19 based across Manchester and Europe and are expanding our service fast around the world.
About you?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven sales representative to drive company sales by introducing customers to our service and book meetings for our senior sales team members.
You will have at least 1 year of experience in sales and will be a highly motivated individual with strong resilience. You will be working alongside experienced sales professionals, which will enhance your development and give you the chance to progress through the sales department.
- You will have at least 2 + years of experience in a Business Development or Sales related role. (Experience in a lead generation or a digital marketing agency is a plus)
- Experience liaising with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of the digital landscape and how a marketing agency operates.
- A proven track record of driving new business through prospecting.
- Strong business acumen and ideally experience or knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Job duties:
- Focus on new business.
- Manage your own pipeline.
- Take control of pitches at intro and demo stages of the pipeline
- Work with the CEO to grow the sales function.
- Taking control of all major pitches
- Lead a SDR to support lead generation efforts.
- Create sales reports and feedback to the CEO.
- Manage KPIs set by the CEO
